Vacation Programme
During most of the Fasnacht, Spring, Summer and October Primary School holidays, we offer a range of exciting Vacation Programme weeks open to all primary school children. This usually runs from Monday to Friday and each week is based on a theme.

Get ready for a high-energy week at the Vitis Sportscenter in Allschwil! From football and basketball to squash, karate, and slacklining — children will try a wide range of sports with expert coaching. A great chance to stay active, build skills, and have fun. Lunch is provided daily (see video below).
Week 2 (7th–11th July): Music Week (CLICK)
Led by Anita Dowden and Imogen Davies, Music Week is all about singing, acting, and performing. Through workshops in character, choreography, and voice, children will build confidence and creativity. Held at our St. Alban-Vorstadt campus — it’s time to take the spotlight!
Week 3 (14th–18th July): STEM Safari (CLICK)
Curious minds will love this week of hands-on science, engineering, and creative challenges. Fun, learning, and discovery combined!
Week 4 (4th–8th August): Let’s Explore Our Creativity (CLICK)
Children will explore a wide range of hands-on activities including painting on canvas, sculpting with clay and playdough, outdoor crafts, and workshops with real artists. Older students will enjoy access to a dedicated art room and extra trips around Basel for artistic inspiration. With time to discover different art styles, create fun crafts, and design a digital portfolio of their masterpieces, this is a week to unleash imagination and take pride in every piece of work.
