Welcome to ELA Basel 

ELA Basel is a vibrant and nurturing school located in the heart of Basel. We pride ourselves on creating a family environment to support our students’ development and growth. Our learning programs have foundations in both the Swiss and British education systems, with a focus on science, arts, technology and music.

ELA Basel provides wrap-around care from 7.30am - 6pm, 50 weeks of the year. Our before and after school activities include academic support, sports, arts and hobby clubs that capitalize on our location in the heart of Basel.

Our campuses have been specifically designed for our student’s varying needs and support creativity, learning and growth. The Gartenstrasse campus is for our Early Years students from ages 3 months - 4 years old, and is located near Basel SBB. Our St Albans Vorstadt campus is for our Primary students from ages 4 - 12 years and is located a short walk from Basel Münster. We offer small classes and a high teacher to student ratio ensuring all students receive the care and support they need.

ELA Basel students and teachers come from more than 35 different countries which gives us daily opportunities to embrace and learn about diversity. Our highly qualified teaching staff are passionate about inspiring a love of life-long learning amongst our students. We are a not for profit school, governed by a highly qualified Board and supported by our parent community.
